Dorsey played some of her best and most exciting golf this spring as she finished up her junior season for Seattle University.
All her hard work started paying dividends, culminating with a tie for second place at the Western Athletic Conference Championship at the Semiahmoo GC in Blaine, WA. with a 73-71-75-219 (two strokes from first place). Her team also took second at Conference, and Dorsey was named First Team All-Conference.
Just as exciting was the fact that Dorsey lowered her scoring average from fall to spring by an amazing three strokes to a 74.5.
Other spring season results…
…At the Montana State Bobcat Spring Invitational at the Golf Club of Estrella (which her team won), Dorsey tied for third (two strokes from first) out of 98 players with a 71-77-73-221.
…At the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes GC, she tied for 15th out of 110 players with a 72-76-73-221.
