Dorsey’s ended her second year of college golf at Seattle University by peaking at just the right time.

Over the course of the last three tournaments of the spring season, Dorsey improved her scoring average by one stroke each tournament, finishing with a stroke average of 76.2 for that final stretch of golf.  (Over the same stretch last year, Dorsey averaged a 78.)

At the John Kirk Panther Invitational in late March at Eagles Landing CC outside Atlanta, Dorsey tied for 22nd (out of 83 competitors) with a 80-74-78-232 for a scoring average of 77.3.  In early April, at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes GC in Maricopa, AZ, she shot a 76-78-74-228 to finish in a tie for 35th (out of 110 competitors) with a scoring average of 76.

And at the Western Athletic Conference Championship at Wigwam CC in Litchfield Park, AZ in late April, Dorsey shot a season best (76-76-74-226) to tie for 7th (out of 39) with a scoring average of 75.3, which helped her team take second place.
