What a season! More like, what an incredible second half! Dorsey has a way of playing her best golf when it matters most.
The first half of the 2023 Epson Tour season saw Dorsey make only two cuts out of 11 tournaments. Those kind of results kill confidence and make you want to quit. But over her last 11 events, she found her confidence and form, making seven cuts and earning herself full Epson Tour status for next year by finishing in the top 80 on the money list. It was her best season (70th on the money list) on the Epson Tour!

The life of a professional golfer is hard. Aside from the pressure to succeed each week, the travel would kill most of us, even when you try and find fun side trips home or fly fish the famous Au Sable River in Michigan, you still might have to sleep overnight in an airport. Over the eight-month season, Dorsey went from Florida to Arizona to California back to Arizona to Utah to Kansas to Florida to North Carolina to Michigan to Connecticut to New York to Indiana to Oregon to Idaho to Utah to Alabama to Arkansas back to Alabama and then back where the season started, Florida.
The last event of the season, the Tour Championship, was her best finish of the season with a tie for 8th, going -17 for the four-day event. On Day 3, she went an incredible bogey-free nine under matching her best score ever, which ironically also came last year in the same round of the same tournament. Her other strong finish of the season was a tie for 9th at the Circling Raven Championship near Coeur d’Alene, ID, one of the few events close to home.
Dorsey split caddies this year, starting out with dad, who was politely replaced by mom midseason. The results speak for themselves. Bring on 2024!
