For the past two years, Dorsey had missed winning the Montana State Women’s Amateur Championship by one stroke each year. Not this time.
At the Canyon Creek Golf Course outside Missoula in July, Dorsey won by ten strokes, going wire-to-wire, fueled by a 68 on Day 1. She finished the three rounds at two over (218).
